IT IS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

Hello Everybody! I hope you are all doing well! I think I am doing pretty good so far! We had lots of changes in my life this week!

Monday we had a pretty lame Pday just lots of sports things. It seem that miles are such a big deal that we cant do anything fun anymore. But I got to say goodbye to a bunch of legendary missionaries that I figured I might not see again. Shout out to my boys in Yreka. Elder Mumford and Starley!

We learned Tuesday night that both Elder Seegmiller and I are leaving medford 6th. I mean, I am not suprised. There were lots of days that I felt like even though we tried so hard the work would not pick up. We did have 3 people we were sort of consistantly teaching Alberto who we put on date Sunday and Brandon and June Grove who we were planning on putting on date the next time we meet with them. So we had a couple people that were progressing but other than that the days were just so rough.

Anyways, transfers were different this time. We learned that we were leaving but we didnt learn where we were going or who we are going with until we get to the transfer spot on wednesday. I learned that I am going back to the zone I started in! Klamath Falls 5th ward! I am super excited to finish my mission there! As far as I can tell there are lots of people that are willing to meet with us at the moment! I have had more nonmember lessons this week than i have had in the last transfer in medford. It is amazing! I have met a handful of people from the ward so far and they are super cool as well! I feel like I am going to get to know the ward and just leave right as I get to know everyone. That is the annoying part!

Anyways, My new companions name is Elder Kowynn Sanders. He is from Eagle Idaho, just north of Boise. He seems like a good guy so far. Kind of quiet. He has been out for around 18 months. So we are both getting closer and closer to the end of our missions!

I am also so grateful to finnaly be in an area with a car! I feel like i can actually go and do work. Biking is fun sometimes. but I am so grateful for the ability to like do missionary work on my own time. And pdays are going to be a breeze because I dont have to rely on other people! Cars are such a blessing in missionary work!

I have no idea what else to say, so I am just going to leave it with a cool scripture I read today. John 17

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

I got reminded of this common mistake people make in the church recently. Everytime God or Jesus Christ speaks in the scriptures I have always found myself trying to figure out who is speaking. Is it God? Or is it Jesus Christ? I am realising now that it does not matter. Both of them are One in purpose. verse 5 says

5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

They have the same glory. Both of them are Gods. They have the same purpose. They are unified. So it does not matter who is speaking. It really doesnt. We just need to be the ones listening. I have no idea why I wanted to share that. But I feel like I needed to. Thank you for everything. I will talk to you all next week.
