You Don't Know What You Have Until It Is Gone...
Hey Hey Hey! How are you all doing?
I have been reflecting a lot about my mission and about my life as I am coming to a close. These 2 years that I have been given to serve the lord has flown by. I remember hearing it at the beginning of my mission. But now that I am here it just is crazy. Ive had almost the whole ward ask me if I am "trunky" Trust me I have been trying to stay motivated and keep sprinting. I feel like the last transfer of your mission is always the one that you remember it by. If you keep running full speed the whole last transfer it is way better. Do not lwt yourself slack. I was told for the first time on tuesday that the leadership of the zone is proud of me. President relayed this message to me during interviews. I am usually the project for leadership so this is a pleasent change.
Anyways, lets get into the week.
Wednesday we had 2 different services. We had one with this lady named Rosy. She needed help moving. She was living in a hotel and had a bunch of strange circumstances where she had trouble with the payment of damages to the hotel. So she threw a fit and my comp just got to stand there awkwardly. After that we went to a members place and mowed/weed eated their yard. Afterwards we went in and they asked if we had a dinner so we got fed which was pretty cool. They had a bunch of strange videos on the tv and we tried our best to avoid looking to waste time. so that was fun.
Thursday was pretty rough not going to lie. We had 5 lessons planned and they all didnt go through. So we tried to just do lots of contacting stuff. I was very frustrated. I tried to be positive but it was very difficult for me. I feel like i have the whole area on my shoulders and i have to make things happen before I go home. Luckily when we went to our dinner with our member the kids were asking if we would play catch with them. So I got to help the daughter with her pitching. We were there for a long time but It genuinely lifted my spirits and I know that the lord put them on that day so I could finnish the day with a positive attitude.
Still working with Walter
Walter is still on track for being baptised on June 1st! We have been meeting with him 2 times a week so we can have everything taught and worked through before he gets baptised. I am so excited about this!
Honestly the rest of the week was pretty boring. We did have another service with a mentally insane lady. So that was fun. But she had an adorable puppy. It would like lick my arms and make snorting noises as we were there. I loved him a lot.
We had a lot of apointments cancel on us which is very sad but I am still just excited to have one super progressing friend!
Oh I forgot! I was able to go to the lava caves again on monday! The caves were the same but last time I was there was almost 2 years ago! Like august of 22. That is nuts to me. Started there and get to end there as well. I love the caves!
I dont know what else to talk about so I will just say I love you all and I will talk to you later!
