Helping People Makes Me Happy!

What is up everybody! I hope you are all doing well! Happy Mothers day! Especially to my wonderful mama. She really is the greatest. I dont know what I would do without her. We had a lesson with bishops family tonight talking about mothers. We went around and just mentioned something we have learned from out moms. One of the daughters mentioned that she learned from her mom she cannot yell that she is being abused in the middle of a walmart. So that was kind of special. I mentioned that there are a lot of things that you take advantage of while you are at home. LIke maybe it is laundry, or dishes. Or even just the order of the house. You learn why she taught what she did. There are so many different things you learn that you dont realise until you move out. I love you mom! I know you love all the pictures I sent to you today! Your welcome.

Anyways, here is a little bit about our crazy week we had this week.

Tuesday we had a lesson with the one, the only, Brother Sean Taylor. He is actually one of Elder Zane Mckeehans good friends from when he was here over 2 years ago. So it was kind of cool to talk about old friends and get to see him a bit!

Thursday we had a lesson with a less active lady here in the ward. Her name is Wynema. She is super sweet and gave us all sorts of food. So now we are going to be eating good! We got a bunch of chicken and roast stuff. So if yall have any great recipes let me know!

Friday we had exchanges. I was with another fellow southern utah kid. His name is Elder Mooy, he went to Crimson so that just tells you how much we get along. But anyways, we had a couple of great lessons that all went through while I was with him! We had a lesson with our friend Walter. He was telling us about how he was put on date a few months back and then somehow got lost. So I asked him what was holding him back to being baptised! He told us nothing! He is working through a couple of little things and he is going to quit! So yall better keep walter Johnson in your prayers. The plan is to get him baptised on June 1st! Just before I leave! So we hope that all happens!

Saturday we were asked if we could go help this older lady with mowing and weed eating her yard. So as we were there i kept having the thought that we had a lot of extra time and that I should offer to mow and weed eat one of her neighbors houses. Right as we were finishing one of her neghbors come out and start visiting with our member. We go over and start visiting and she mentions that she needs to get her lawn done as well. So we offered to do it for her too! The greatest part about it was when she asked how much we charged, we told her it was free and her eyes all glowed up. When we told her who we are and that we do services because that is what Jesus would do she loved that. She was telling us how much she has been trying to be like jesus. Such a sweet lady.

Alright I cannot think of any more funny or good stories to tell yall for the week. We had an awesome week and it is crazy that I only have a little bit left. Weeks like this are the reason I am going to miss the mission field. I love you all and I hope you all go tell your mothers the same thing!

Say your prayers, read your scriptures. Make sure to go download the gospel library app. The tik Toks are not worth the space. Trust me. (Yes I am talking to you. You know who you are)

Love you all!
