Hello Everybody! This is my second to last email on the mission. How crazy is that!? This week has been an absolute roller coaster. Lots of crazy things happened this week! So here you go! Lets get into it!  Pday was one of my favorites i have had in a little while! A bunch of us elders went up to this park just north of us to go fishing. We fished for a lot of the day. Plus there were a bunch of tables that we played games and stuff on. We caught a bunch of tiny tiny fish and one big one! And a bunch of water snakes and lizards. So it was a pretty fun day!  Tuesday we had a couple of service projects. We also had our mock baptismal interview with our friend Walter. We talked about it because we wanted to see what we had to focus on. He talked about a couple of things he might need to talk to president Cornelius about. So we will have to see how that works out. I think we will have to push it back a little bit. But after that we went and had dinner with our ward mission leader...

You Don't Know What You Have Until It Is Gone...

Hey Hey Hey! How are you all doing?  I have been reflecting a lot about my mission and about my life as I am coming to a close. These 2 years that I have been given to serve the lord has flown by. I remember hearing it at the beginning of my mission. But now that I am here it just is crazy. Ive had almost the whole ward ask me if I am "trunky" Trust me I have been trying to stay motivated and keep sprinting. I feel like the last transfer of your mission is always the one that you remember it by. If you keep running full speed the whole last transfer it is way better. Do not lwt yourself slack. I was told for the first time on tuesday that the leadership of the zone is proud of me. President relayed this message to me during interviews. I am usually the project for leadership so this is a pleasent change.  Anyways, lets get into the week.  Wednesday we had 2 different services. We had one with this lady named Rosy. She needed help moving. She was living in a hotel and had ...

What is up everybody! I hope you are all doing well! Happy Mothers day! Especially to my wonderful mama. She really is the greatest. I dont know what I would do without her. We had a lesson with bishops family tonight talking about mothers. We went around and just mentioned something we have learned from out moms. One of the daughters mentioned that she learned from her mom she cannot yell that she is being abused in the middle of a walmart. So that was kind of special. I mentioned that there are a lot of things that you take advantage of while you are at home. LIke maybe it is laundry, or dishes. Or even just the order of the house. You learn why she taught what she did. There are so many different things you learn that you dont realise until you move out. I love you mom! I know you love all the pictures I sent to you today! Your welcome.  Anyways, here is a little bit about our crazy week we had this week.  Tuesday we had a lesson with the one, the only, Brother Sean Taylor....

Missionary Release

Dear Brother and Sister Reynolds:  It has been a privilege to serve with Elder Tysen Reynolds here in the Oregon Eugene Mission.  Elder Reynolds will return home to be released on 7 Jun 2024. Elder Reynolds has served diligently, devoting his time to ministering and proclaiming the gospel to the people of Oregon.  He has blessed the lives of many individuals and families.  He has developed holy habits that will be a blessing throughout his life. He returns home with increased understanding of the Gospel and greater faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement.  He has represented Jesus Christ and has drawn closer to Him. Sister Cornelius and I are grateful for the opportunity to serve with Elder Reynolds.  Our lives have also been blessed by his service.  We are full of hope for his future and confident that the Lord has great opportunities for him in gathering Israel and building the His kingdom.  We thank you for your support in this great work....

Hello Everybody! I hope you are all doing well! I think I am doing pretty good so far! We had lots of changes in my life this week!  Monday we had a pretty lame Pday just lots of sports things. It seem that miles are such a big deal that we cant do anything fun anymore. But I got to say goodbye to a bunch of legendary missionaries that I figured I might not see again. Shout out to my boys in Yreka. Elder Mumford and Starley!  We learned Tuesday night that both Elder Seegmiller and I are leaving medford 6th. I mean, I am not suprised. There were lots of days that I felt like even though we tried so hard the work would not pick up. We did have 3 people we were sort of consistantly teaching Alberto who we put on date Sunday and Brandon and June Grove who we were planning on putting on date the next time we meet with them. So we had a couple people that were progressing but other than that the days were just so rough.  Anyways, transfers were different this time. We learned t...
