Wassup my friends! I hope you all had a fantastic General Conference Weekend! There were some absolutely wonderful talks! Let me know what ones were your favorite ones! I think they all had a great importance in the world. If you want to talk about conference stuff message me. I would love to talk about it. But you guys are here for the email about my week. So lets get into that!



Hanging with Jack! 

So Tuesday we hungout with our friend Jack. He is our half basher friend that we can never tell what his intentions are. We both belive that he is actually curious about the church but he got into a bunch of anti. So he like brings anti documents to us all the time. And you know what they say, if you are looking to buy a Ford dont go to a Chevy Dealership. He was telling us that he heard somewhere that us church members have some sort of retirement plan where once we retire we get to go to this all paid resort and live there I guess! First of all sign me up! Second of all i have never heard this before in my life. it definitely was an interesting take on that. 



The Halls are so cool

The other day we are calling a bunch of members asking them if we can do any service for them! We learn that the hall family had a bunch of lumber coming to their house! They said they would love to have us come help unload it! So we go over there and we haul around this lumber, tour their garden they have in the backyard and helped them with a couple other little projects! Then they asked us if we had a dinner that night! We said we did not, and they asked if we wanted to come over and have some tri tip! So they are officially one of the coolest members in the whole ward! They are incredible.

We had zone conference on Thursday! ZOne conference is always a fun time to see a bunch of friends you never see very often. SInce I am getting old in the mission I have little to no friends that are here anymore. So I hungout with my 2 freinds at zone conference! He talked a lot about the byu speech, remember lots wife from Elder Holland. He then made a couple of changes around the mission! We now have District council meetings on Monday, and our transfer news will be completely different. We will not know where or who we are going to be with until we are pretty much there. This is to get rid of negatives being spread around about missionaries and areas. Start them off with a clean slate. It was actually kind of cool. I am looking forward to seeing the stuff that comes from it. 



We also went to texas roadhouse with a couple of the other elders we like in the zone. It was fantastic. Also Early Dine ends at 5 not 6. So we learned that the hard way! 



Conference!

Yes i know i wouldnt talk about conference! But seriously go and listen to the talks. They really are inspired men of God. They know what they are talking about. they are not just old men. They are inspired prophets seers and revelators. And they are wise, not old. 



We had the opportunity to go with 4 different member families for the 5 different sessions! 2 of which were with the Spencers, they have a good friend Tonje who actually came and watched the saturday afternoon session with us! SHe is so elect! Just non commital. She told us afterwards that she would walk into the waters of baptism yesterday if it wasnt for a couple of things. Anyways, We also went to the israelsens and watched it with their amazing family! We hit a nice pump in between sessions in the gym. And then Sunday we went and watched it with Brother Singer and then with the halls! And guess what!? Bro singer made us tri tip as well! I am loving tri tip. So we better make some when I get home!

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
