Hanging With Harry!

This week has honestly been so rough for us. They made a change in the mission a couple days ago and so we have our meeting we usually have on Friday to Monday nights. So instead of having 2 days that are a little more chill we only have one. I liked having a little pick up on Friday every week by just being able to hang with the other missionaries for a bit! But I understand why they changed it. Now Friday was a full day of work. So that was definitely a change for the week. 



The best part of the week was while we were hanging with one of the priests in the ward Harry! He is preparing to go out on a mission and so he has been wanting to go out and work with us a couple of times. We had him both Wednesday and Thursday. Both times we had a lesson planned for him to go to and both times they canceled which was kind of interesting. So we did some tracting and tried to visit people. Nothing really happened on Tuesday but on Wednesday we decided we would do some phone call things. And while we were calling we had this guy come up to us and we were able to teach him so that is kind of fun. All 3 of us were able to bear our testimonies to him. Though he was a strong agnostic it was still cool to have the opportunity to bare your testimony to this guy. 



I also had interviews this week so that was very fun! I got to talk to him about the area and what I could do to change and do better. He told me a ton of stuff I need to keep in consideration. 



We did have one cool interaction this week! We are walking over to a less active members place and on the way was a door that we have knocked on a ton of times. This guys name is Rafael. We have talked to his family but never him. So out of nowhere I got a prompting to go knock. And we finnally got ahold of this man! He was saying that he loved having us missionaries over and just discussing things with him! So I am super happy about this! I hope that he is able to set up something with us. At the moment he is not answering our phone calls or texts but we will keep calling. He seems like a super cool guy. 



I have no idea what else to talk about in this email. So I'm just going to end it right here. I hope everyone is having a great week! I'm still here. Almost in the double digits.

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody.
