Becoming The Glizzy Guardian!

Happy Easter everyone! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! This week is one of the most special weeks ever! This week celebrates the last week of Jesus Christ's life! I hope you all had amazing services today focused on the savior! The church did like an Easter Study doohicky on the gospel library app and I thought that was pretty cool.

 


Anyways, Here are the highlights for the week! 



Lunch with president Clason! 

On Tuesday we got a message from our stake president saying he wanted to visit with us for a little bit over some inn and out. So it was pretty fire! We were very nervous at the beginning because we just didnt know the point of why he wanted to talk to us. But it ended up being pretty chill. He is an awesome dude who just wanted to know how the ward was doing! Plus he bought us inn and out. Which is always a plus. After lunch we went over to the mall and tried to talk to people. We had one kid come up to us and ask us if we wanted to talk about God. Then he said nevermind and laughed and walked away. Parker and I got a good laugh at that. I also never wanted to drop kick a kid so hard in my life. So If i get sent home because i drop kicked a kid than it was worth it.

So we had to take the car to the dealership on wednesday to do some sort of recall. They told us it would take an hour and a half. And the dealership is on the side of town where there was nothing. So we decided to watch the braves baseball game that was going on! I didnt get to finish it but it was very awesome. I was teaching parker the ways of the braves. It was legit.

Ok so the best thing we did this whole week was being part of a easter doohickey. I was told I was going to be the one that was the easter bunny. Then it ended up not happening. Kind of a relief because I didnt want to get safety zoned. But anyways, we decided to go be part of giving out food. I was the one who gave out the hot dogs at the front of the line. A little girl came up and told me i was the greatest cook. It made me super happy. She was so funny. But we had an awesome day doing that. But I might have ate too many hot dogs. it be that way sometimes.

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
