Hard Goodbyes

Hello Everyone! I hope you are all doing well! I am still here! This is your weekly reminder of me one of the 3 favorite missionaries from Hurricane that is serving in the Oregon Eugene Mission! I Imagine im more like 2 or 3 because Elder Peart is pretty dang cool. Maybe he will see this, maybe not. Anyways, Here is the week!  Monday was one of my favorite pdays I have had! One of our awesome members decided that they wanted to rent out one of the Baseball fields here in Medford for us missionaries to hit on! So we got our district together which was around 10 people and we all went and hit around for a while! Everyone was telling me I should pitch because im the only one that could consistantly put it in the strike zone. So i thought that was kind of funny. Our members brought us some hot dogs and waters so that was fantastic. We were there from like 10-3. For some reason days at the field always end with someoen getting hurt. This week was no exception. One of the very last swing...

Temple Trip x2 And Tablerock

This week was kind of rough. Monday was not pday and neither was tuesday so It just made me super sad. Long weeks and getting out of routine like that is kind of rough. They were pretty slow and not very motivating but we still tried our best to do everything we could to help people come closer to christ. We ran into 2 different ladies that had kind of interesting views on life. One was a lady of the bahai faith and the other was a lady that belived in God as a all knowing spirit that is in everything. It was just different. Ive never heard of either one of these kinds of people before. It is kind of fun to see where people are coming from to help understand them a lot more.  Alright now for the main topic: our pday on wednesday!  Elder Seegmiller and I had the car that morning so we thought it would be a great idea to his a sick workout in the morning with our good friend Craig. We all decided that we should max out our bench. So After a little bit of a warm up we started wit...

Introducing Bishops Son To Anti

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Trust me when I say that. But it was delicous. We had lots of good talks and went and said hi to a couple of his people he used to teach wh...

Seek And Expect Miracles!

Hi Everyone! I cant believe it has been another week. I am still here in oregon. I dont know what else to say. So lets get into the highlights!  I love being bashed. We had this guy reffer himself to us and we message and call him and everything goes well! He said he would be in thailand for a few days and we could reach out to him when he gets back. We message him and ask if we could meet up sometime and he starts going off about how we cannot prove there is or isnt a God. He decided to play the middle man which doesnt make sense. I feel like if I was in the middle I would decide to believe because it seems like a better chance than not. If I believe I could inherit all that the father hath and If I dont I just die. So even if it was a 50/50 chance I would choose the one that I would win in the end.  The other day we get a call from our friend Sheila. She is one of the coolest members ever. She wanted to let us know of a cool experience she was a part of. She started off by t...
