Good Attitude And Ghosts = Success
Hello Hello! It is your boy! I hope yall are all doing well! I actually had an amazing week this week! This was my first real week with Elder Seegmiller (I didnt even think Parker, I am making progress!) This week was actually fantastic though!
On pday the YSA elders asked if we wanted to come play volleyball with a bunch of their non member friends that they have reached out to! Which turns out to be the RCC College womens volleyball team! I have no idea how that ended up happening but most of pday consisted of us gettng beat in sand volleyball by all these cute college girls. It was pretty awesome!
On tuesday we did a lot of finding. We had a lesson with some of my favorite members the Jarvies! They were telling us that they might be able to rent a baseball field for us missionaries this upcoming pday! So we are excited to hopefully be able to do that! I havent played baseball in so long! Later, we went to young mens, we played basketball with a bunch of the deacons! Some of them are so tiny! Youll have to ask elder seegmiller about throwing the smallest kid, Tom, on the ground during basketball! I am sure he would love to tell you about it.
On thursday we did what was called a "Flood" Our mission president has asked that we try to have 10 people we are actively teaching in every area in the mission before march. So The flood consisted of 3 different companionships working in the area for a few hours trying to help us find people to teach! Now we have 2 leads on people now! We are pretty excited about it!
Saturday was the best day! Elder Seegmiller was a very good influence on me today and we both had a ghost energy drink because we were both super tired! Then We had a lesson with our friend Kathleen. I think I have mentioned her before. We went over there and shared the first vision and talked about the restoration of the gospel! When we talked about the first vision everything stopped. I havent felt the spirit in a lesson this strong since I was in merlin! Youll have to read Elder Seegmillers side to it! He was telling me he was feeling very Giddy. His first nonmember lesson. It was so awesome! And she came to church today too! Our member sister morgan is so sweet! She was there visiting with Kathleen for another 30 min after the lesson!
Like I said this week was so cool! I have really enjoyed being with Parker as a companion. (Totally not writing this because he reads my emails) But for real, it has been so fun talking about home things. Like talking about where our friends are at and what is going on at home. It really has been so nice! It does make me want to go home sometimes but I still do enjoy it a ton! It has been amazing!
