Still Alive

Hello Hello Everyone! I hope you are all doing well! This week has been pretty average but lets get into the highlights! 



Bucking Hay!

One of the services we did this last week was buck a lot of hay! Ive done this a bunch of times in the past and I still enjoy it. Something about hard labor makes me feel good afterwards! I miss it! We also got to go celebrate Brother Goodpastures birthday This day! He is so Awesome! 



8 Hour Zone Conference

Because of christmas president put together a zone conference that was an all day experience instead of like 3-4 hours. We got up and drove down to Medford so we were there at around 10 and president shared a message so did the APs and whoever else and then we had lunch. Then we were split up into groups and we got to go decorate gingerbread houses, and play games with the other missionaries! I was able to hangout with my boy Elder Tufuga and Holmes. It was a good time! Just was super long. 



Nobody Shows!

The rest of the week was pretty bland. We did not have very many things going on and everything we did have fell through. Saturday night we had the potential to have 2 different lessons with 7 new people to teach and not a single one of them showed. little things like that make the work very difficult. It was supposed to be the best part of the week and instead it was just a lot of us doing phone calls and texting people who are not interested in the least. It just makes me so sad sometimes. I love the work and the mission and I think there are so many things I am still in this area to do. I bet I stay another transfer because we learned that Elder Kartchner got his visa and I doubt that president would white wash the area. I feel like there are people that trust me here. They know me. The time is just not yet.

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
