Nativity Festival!

Hello Everyone! Welcome to my email list! I hope everyone is doing well! It is 22 days till christmas! I hope everyone is excited to listen to all the mariah carey they want! Except us missionaries because that would be disobedient. Anyways, this week was very interesting. So lets get right into it!


Cookies! 
The other day we decided we should deliver cookies to a couple of our friends we have been trying to teach! One of our ward members has offered to make some cookies for us so we finnally took her up on the offer and we delivered 2 batches of cookies to our friends Lu Jean and Dean! Both of them are going through some hard times and probably could use prayers. But they were both super thankful and seemed super happy to see us! Lu Jean actually started crying! It was very emotional! 


Temple Day! 
We got to go to the temple on thursay this week! It is always a good time to go to the temple. Got to see a couple of good friends there and just felt the spirit a lot! If you can, The temple is one of the best places to be to ponder and pray! It always makes me super happy!


Nativity Festival!
Every year in the Grants Pass stake they gather a bunch of people together and a lot of people set up and display their nativity sets! Hundreds of nativities are set up in the gym from all across the globe! We got to go help out with being security as well as just a cool public finding opportunity! The only issue was that we were there for so long! We were at the event from 430 Friday to 9 that night! 4 and a half hours. Then we went back the next morning from 830-3. I was so done with just walking around aimlessly and trying to talk to people about nativities that i have been staring at for 8 hours. It was very very fun but I was so done at the end of it. I think half of the missionaries were in a cruddy mood the rest of the day on saturday. It just didnt feel productive.


Church
Ok last thing, we had 5 nonmembers show up at church today! One of them was a refferall from Elder Mumford and Scott down in Meddy. His name was John. He was very down to visit with us and he came to church first chance he got! He was showing us pictures of all his animals he has! He has like 85 different animals that he has as pets. Among these were 2 massive 7 foot long 50 pound Pythons! So this is going to be very interesting when we go over to teach him! Maybe Ill get to hold one of these massive pythons. I am kind of nervous not going to lie. I dont think it is against the standards is it?


The other 4 was a family that one of our members the giltners brought with them! They loved it enough that they are coming back next week and they signed up to feed us in the next week or 2! I am so stoked! This is going to be insane! 


Anyways, I hope you all have an awesome rest of your week! This week was awesome! I am looking forward to hearng from you guys! Yes, even you Taylor... You guys have to guilt trip her to read my email. I am putting that on you guys!

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
