Emotionally Distressed? Call The Missionaries!

Hello Hello everybody! I hope this email finds you well! This week has been something else. Lets just say that. So lets get right into it. 


The main thing I want to talk about is this lady named Shirley. On Wednesday we had a lesson and a service and we come home and are trying to figure out what to do for the rest of the day and we get a text out of the blue saying we need to go visit her. Like right at that moment. Luckily we didnt have anything for a bit so we grabbed what we needed and we go over to her house. We show up and we knock on the door. No answer. We try calling her and we hear the ringing in the house. But no answer. We start to turn away after like 5 min and she comes out. She doesnt say a word to us. She just stares. My son Elder Merrill looks at me and  like mouths to me, I think she is drunk. So for some reason he litterally asks her, "Are you on something?" After that she tells us to come in and we sit there and we listen to her go off about how she lost her husband and she just needs answers. We try our best to answer her questions the best of our ability but she kept demanding that we take her husbands old quad. She felt like it was making her depressed and stuff. So we end up taking it and we help her so she isnt crying and we go about the rest of the day. 


The next day she texted us saying how she was a hopeless cause and that we needed to give up on her. So we go over there and try our best to calm her down and we bring mama goopasture with us. They bonded pretty good we thought. The next day it was the same thing. She texted us saying we needed to stop and to leave her alone. How we didnt have answers and that we just wanted her to join out church. So we text her a bit and we go over there again and calm her down for the 3rd time. I really felt how alma and Amulek felt when I felt the pains of the people at that mement. 


Otherwise this week was very not crazy. We told Shirley that we would wear jeans to church if she showed up and she didnt so we didnt have to do that luckily. I also was given a dwayne the rocktopus. That is all

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
