Living In Grants Pass!

Hello everyone! It is me again! Time has been flying by! I cannot belive it is time to write another lovely email for you guys! It is my favorite pastime! Anyways, Here are the highlights



Saving miles

We had a couple days where we had to get members to take us places just due to the fact that we are supposed to stay under our alloted miles for the car. But when we could not get any members we just sat here and just tried to use technology to call and text people. That was the best option we had! Those days get so boring! 



Glendale Day

This week in Glendale we didnt have a ton of lessons actually. We did a lot of contacting in this little town just south of Glendale called Wolf Creek. Now this town was supposedly shut down because of how sketchy this area was! So it was very fun! We took a route right by Wolf creek up to the north part of Glendale and we drove up a mountain with some awesome views! It was a great day!



Staying in Grants Pass

So this weekend was Stake conference! So since we are already over miles we got to stay in Grants pass saturday night to sunday morning! It was like a whole fiasco because we had it all figured out, we knew where we were going to stay because we knew they had beds. Then the ZLs told us we needed to stay somewhere else so we go over to our District leaders house and had to figure out the bed situation and we got a lecture from our ZLs (who gave us permission btw) about how we should have stayed in our area. But we were trying to be obedient and it just became a hassle. 



Stake conference!

One thing i have been told a decent amount out here in this ward is how much the supposedly "active" people in the ward are only hanging on by a thread. So Stake conference was me trying to figure out ways I can best help these people. I learned that a lot of it was just consistency. If we can do what we can control than the lord will bless us with what we cannot control. Lots of that includes Saying prayers, reading scriptures, going to church that sort of thing. If any ofyall have questions please let me know and i can use my limited knowledge to help answer questions. But one important thing to know is if you study consistently your questions will dissapear. If you keep doing what you know to be true than you will be blessed. I promise that!

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
