ITS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL

hello Everyone! I forgot to write an email on Sunday and my mom got mad at me and threatened to jump on a plane and come beat me so here I am! Though it would make a funny email title for next week! "Angry mom flies to oregon to beat the crap out of her missionary son" Would have been fun. 


Anyways the highlights! 


Glendale Day! 
So we try to drive up to Glendale area once a week because that is where all of our awesome lessons and stuff are! We drove up there and had all of our lessons cancel on us! It was very sad! So we just decided to contact everyone we could! We went and explored a sketchy probably drug house and it was just an awesome day! We found a couple of people who might be interested in coming back/being taught so ill keep you updated on them if im not dead by mom. 


FOOD
So wednesday was very interesting! We got to drive down to GP and pick up a couple of elders to help out with a service for the Goodpastures. They fed us breakfast burritos which was amazing! Then at 11 we drove back down to GP and dropped of the elders and went to lunch with an active member that we thought was not active! Meal 2! Then a little bit later we went to a dinner with an actual less active. After Dinner we head home and when we get home for the night the Goodpastures asked us if we got fed! We did decline but we got fed 3 different times that day! It was nuts! I felt so fat. 


Temple Trip!
Our pday was on Thursday this week! We got to drive down to Medford to go to the temple! I love the temple so much! I am so glad I could go! 


Services and SIster Morris! 
I have had many experiences out here where somebody has connections somewhere that they know someone I know and it was so cool! We had a service with this lady who just moved out of the ward and needed help fixing a couple of things at her house! She moved to Hurricane in April! She moved into the Turley's ward and the Turleys babysat her kids for her! It is so fun to talk and visit with someone who knows people that I know. I loved it!

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
