Hello everyone! Still here! Still living. Still in my little cabin. Nothing much has changed. So lets get into the highlights!



Wiffleball with the Elds

On pday we finally decided to cave and buy a wiffleball set at walmart. We got to play with a bunch of the elders for a little while on pday! It was way fun! Throwing those wiffleballs can cause some nasty curve balls!



Pear Farm!

On Tuesday we were given permission to go down to Medford to help out with the pear farm! If any of you dont know, it is owned by the church and missionaries living in Central Point and Medford go every week to help out the church. So It was very cool to go down there and help out! I drove through a lot of my old area and it kind of gave me a lot of nostalgia! It was so fun! Now we have a crap ton of pears that we get to eat so it was all worth it!



Hanging with a homeless dude

So this story was very strange. It was the end of the day, we are getting home after cleaning the church building with a couple of members. All of a sudden this guy knocks on our door. I open it expecting it to be one of the goodpastures because we live with them and we don't get a lot of visitors. Anyways, I open up the door and this man is standing there. Probably mid 30s long long beard and he starts asking me questions about being a missionary. It turns out he is a less active member that lives a couple miles up the road from us and he said he has been struggling and wanted to turn his life around. Kind of a cool experience. 



6 lessons!? 

On Saturday we had it all planned out to drive up to the very far north part of our area. We had a lunch up there with one of our members and we figured we would contact everyone we could. So we go to lunch. Have an awesome lunch. And we ask the members if there was anyone that they felt like we should go visit in this little town. Now our member was a very much loved school teacher in the town and she pretty much knew everyone. So she gave us a handful of names to go visit. As we were visiting we started to realise that every single person that we talked to would actually listen to is when we told them that we were good friends with Mrs becky. We had 6 different lessons that day. It was incredible. I dont know for sure how many people are actually interested but it was still so cool.

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
