Sharon Lamb's Baptism!

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is doing well! This week has definitely been a doozey! So lets get right into it!



Sharon Lamb's Baptism!

Most of this week was honestly been preparing for our good friend Sharon's baptism! It has definitely been interesting because Sharon has a couple of mental things that makes our teaching a little harder than we thought. Some days it felt like the movie 50 first dates! We would go through our day and teach her and set her up for baptism and she would be super excited about it and then the next morning at 5 am we would get a call saying that God told her that it wasnt her time and that she was an Angel doing angel things. This would happen for around a week straight! It is a good laugh now that everything is done! 



I am not really here to make fun of Sharon. She really is such a kind lady that is willing to tell you her whole life story any time you would like it! It really has been so fun teaching her. Especially the last week before her baptism. We prayed very hard that she would not change her mind last second like she has done before. With the help of the Holy Ghost we were able to baptise her this saturday on August 19th! 



Otherwise this week has been very slow. We have had some great studies. Played Zombies at the church building on pday and had our last District Council before transfers this next week! I will learn on Tuesday if I stay or go, and then travel or not on Thursday! So this week will definitely be different! Hopefully I stay but I wouldnt be suprised if I dont. President has hinted to Tufuga and I that we will be split so I am going to be sad about that.

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
