"Halfway There! Livin On A Prayer!"

What is up everybody! Your Boy has hit a year!! Hope yall arent missing me too much yet! We are on the downhill slope! 


This week has been absolutely nuts! I guess that is fitting for being out for a year! So lets get into the highlights!


Andrew's Mission Call!
My good friend Andrew Booren opened up his mission call on Tuesday! We went and got Menchies to go celebrate! He is going to somewhere in Brazil! I don't know how to pronounce it all! Sorry guys! Starts with an R I think. Anyways, super excited for him! I hope I get to stay to watch him leave but that means I would have to stay here for another 2 transfers so I guess we will have to see what happens. 


MLC!
President Cornelius told us on Tuesday that he wanted us to go into Eugene to go to MLC with the Zone leaders and STLs. Kind of last minute but it was awesome! I got to see a couple of friends I havent seen in a while and President and Sister Cornelius made white chicken chili for everyone! this is so awesome! We talked a ton about motivation and how important it is. It was very fun to go to!


Pioneer Day Celebration!
On Saturday our stake put together a luncheon to celebrate the 24th of July. Though we didnt get to see any fireworks we did get to eat some delicious food and have a good time with a bunch of members! We now have like 4 giant things of potato salad. I am set for a while! We also had a couple of less active members show up and our friend Kaye showed up! So that was fun!


The return of Bubba Allen!
On sunday the stake decided to do a priesthood meeting. So us missionaries went and we had a blast there! And I got to see my pit viper wearing buddy Bubba Allen! He is one of the funniest guys ever! It was the first time ive seen him in a suit! And let me tell ya he was not too fond of the "Monkey Suit". 


Anyways, I had an awesome week this week! I appreciate everything and I hope you all stay tuned for next week! I have a little suprise for you guys if everything goes to plan!

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
