Elder Tufuga

Hello everyone! It is your weekly reminder of my existance! This week has had a pretty eventful couple days of packing and transfers! We got our transfer news on Tuesday night and Elder Wilson is headed up to Grants Pass and Mort and I will be receiving Elder Tufuga! At least until Mort leaves to peru. We expected to get Elder Tufuga later in the evening but he arrived around lunch time! We didnt have a ton planned that day because we just didnt know a lot. We mostly just let him unpack and get used to the apartment! 



RIP Elder Nazer!

The saddest part of this transfer to me was when we lost Elder Nazer. He went home. His time was up. It was so sad to see one of my closest friends from the mission leave when I just got to know him. Him and I just clicked so well and he tells me he will try to come to my homecoming. He did leave me with a bunch of weights and bands and so Now I get to use them to get absolutely jacked! In honor of Nazer!!



Elder Tufuga!

I just wanted to give a brief introduction to my comp because he is pretty awesome! He is originally from Samoa until he was 8 and then grew up in LA. He is seriously one of the most humble people I know! Plus he is 6-5. I seem to always attract the tallest companions! I feel like a dwarf next to these guys! Anyways, Elder Tufuga and I are already getting along great and we already have goals to workout 2 times a day so we can become jacked! He is seriously one of the coolest guys I know. I am ready to grind with him! 



The Bear sized Dog

Story Time! So we had just gotten home and we rushed over to dinner which was pretty close. Then a huge bear sized dog jumped out of nowhere and all 3 of us were sprinting for our lives! The only hope we had was to jump over this giant fence to safety! Elder Tufuga and Mort went first and I immediately followed! The dog jumped up and grabbed my hand at the last second! Yelling in pain I kicked the dog in the face and I jumped over the fence to the safety of the other side! The ward members ran out to us all drooping in sweat and blood. They said nobody has ever bested that dog and that we were heroes! We then bandaged up my bloody hand and had an awesome dinner and a spiritual lesson with the Crooks! 



Yes that was 100% real. No we did not just decide to jump over the fence to save ourselves 3 minutes of time. No i did not just accidentally grab the top of the barb wire fence when I jumped over and it just tore the whole side of my hand. But that wouldn't have made as fun of a story!

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody.
