Zone Conference!

Well hello everyone. Its still me. I am still out here thriving. Anyways, this week has been pretty awesome actually! We had a lot of good times and we had zone conference! So here are the highlights!

Late Night Drives

Tuesday was kind of a mediocre day honestly. Didn't see a ton of miracles until later in the evening. Elder Carter and Elder Nazer were on an exchange and decided to pull up and do facebook with us for the last little bit of the day. We talk for a little bit. Do a little facebook and I convinced them to let me come with them to their final thing of the night. Which was just meeting with a member. This was probably the highlight of the day. I absolutely love both Elder Carter and Nazer. I dont think I have ever laughed more in my life than when I was with these 2 guys. We just had an absolute hoot.

Zone Conference

Zone conference is always one of my very favorite times of the transfer. I get to see people that I havent seen in forever! Plus this was my very first one in the northern end of the mission. I got to see Elder Hansen and Elder Radcliff who are 2 of my favorite people ever. Aside from just seeing people, The message was also amazing. We talked a ton about the gift of charity. President Weekes said something that stood out to me, Charity is not something you just obtain. Charity has to possess you. Charity is the pure love of christ.  A gift is something you are given by the lord. It can easily be taken away. That is why it is so important to constantly be charitable when you have it. I dont know if I said that right but I hope you get the point.

Do you know what your next step is? Then take just that.

I had an amazing conversation with Elder Mortensen. We might have lowkey talked till 1 in the morning. We were just talking about our goals we have for ourselves. We can do anything if we put our mind to it. We live in a day and age where you can make a ton of money doing anything. One thing Elder Mortensen has decided for himself is he wants to travel the world and make social media content of the cool places he goes to. Then he has all these people he is going to meet and he can know how the world works. Then he will be able to thrive in the world at the moment.

My goals are a little bit different. I am will own a modded tacoma that I can take up to moab and go rock climbing. I will own a boat so I can take my family out on the lake and surf. I will  become a competitive shooter for a major firearm company. I am going to go wild boar hunting with my dad in Hawaii. I am going to go bear hunting in Alaska. Among a ton of other things. I have to make life worth living. With the right work ethic and just being able to talk to people you can do anything.

Anyways, that is the highlights. We have done a ton of member lessons in hopes to meet and get the ward to trust us in the process. It has been a blast! We also have been taking my boy Andrew Booren on splits and we played ultimate frisbee with him and his friend. I love this ward. there is so many things that have potential. They just need to have missionaries that can hold their ground and actually do work.

I love you all and I hope you have a great week!
