Shotgun Creek! (pictures)

Well well well! This is your weekly reminder that I am still alive! Here in Springfield the people are way different than in Medford. So far they have been super nice! I have not gotten yelled at yet which is a crazy thing!


Anyways, These are the Highlights


Torr!!
Yea, Torr is back! You guys thought you would stop hearing stories about him! The crazy thing is he came and visited me up here in Springfield! I have no idea why. He came by and we talked for a little bit. Just caught up and stuff. Then he started up on his good ol Torr things where he starts trying to lecture us on stuff that confuses all of us. I love Torr but during the middle of our little get together he started lecturing Elder Wilson just like he did to Elder Holmes. Wilson did not want to answer one of his questions so Torr went off about how everyone has talents and since Wilson didnt want to share his opinion he was an antiChrist. Wilson no longer likes Torr. I made a facebook post about him again! So that is kind of cool!


The people we are teaching!
Martin- Spanish guy who grew up Catholic and he is down to learn. I dont know if he will convert but he is down with meeting with us. 
Karla- Really kind lady who is struggling a lot with faith. She believes a lot of it but she struggles with action. 
Jo and Bradford- Super nice couple! They are actually less active so we are just trying to intrigue their interest in the church again. We do pretty fun lessons with them usually. 
Rick and Bonnie- Less actives who dont come to church because they have a lot of problems with people in the ward. They believe the church is true but they just dont like some of the people because of various reasons. 


Those are the main people we are teaching! I would love it if you kept them in your prayers! They really could use it! 


Shotgun Creek!
This was probably one of the best parts of the week. At least for my sanity. Shotgun creek is like a national forest area close by here. Brother Deluna brought us here and allowed us to take pictures and stuff around there. There was just a ton of cool views that the pictures really dont do justice. Also, there is a ton of dirt bike trails here so I want to come back after the mission and go on these trails. They kind of remind me of Duck Creek.

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
