Guys, this week was kind of mediocre. There was not a lot going on but here are the highlights.



Eagles Landing (I Think) Hike

On Pday I got to go on this super cool hike over close by Oakridge. It is called something with an eagle. Your welcome. But this hike was incredible. We hiked about 3x more than we needed to because we didnt know the road went up farther but it came out to about 8 miles and the view at the top was absolutely beautiful. The pictures dont do it justice.



How to build a Christlike Culture

I had the opportunity to go to follow up Missionary Leadership council with my companions since Mort is a DL. President weekes got to talk to us about how important it is to build a christlike culture. So little things like how you talk around other missionaries and Obedience were all brought up. This was president Weekes last MLC so it was kind of cool to be there! I also got to do a little music thing for the departing missionary devotional and it was awesome because I couldnt stop laughing when I was with Elder Radcliff. I had a good time. 



Tourettes

I got to go on a split with my boy Elder Carter. We went and wanted to go knock on doors and see what we can do and the very first house we knocked on was this family that looked like they were moving out. So we offered to help them out and we got to move a ton of furniture and stuff for them! At the very end we asked if we could say a prayer with them and their neighbor Greg came out and asked if he could join us and of course we said yea! We gather around and I start the prayer. Out of nowhere Greg starts just randomly cussing during the prayer. It like cut me off guard but I continued and at the end he explained how he has tourettes and he just randomly says like the N word and The F word all the time. He says it gets him into a lot of trouble. It honestly was really funny to me and Elder Carter and I just busted out laughing when we jumped into the truck. 



Anyways, This next week is transfers and it is Elder Nazer's last transfer. He goes home this week and It is so sad this is the first time ive served with him. He is one of my favorite elders out here. He said he would be giving me a bunch of his workout stuff so now is the time to get absolutely ripped. 



I love you all and I am sorry but I am sick of writing this email so talk to ya next week!

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
