Torr's Door

Hello people of the email list! I am going to make this short because this week was not that crazy and It is late here!


SICK of missionary work!
Just kidding! The title of this paragraph is misleading and the truth is Elder Holmes was just sick all day Tuesday and we didnt get to do any missionary work! I did study a lot though which I feel was a good use of my time! 


Torr and the mystery of the broken door
I feel like half of my emails home have something to do with Torr in them! This one is no different! He ran into some elders in the Medford zone and he invited them to come hangout at his house again! So we coordinate that and we all go over there! It honestly was a highlight of my mission. We got to have some delicious food, Jimmy rig Torr's door so it shuts again and sat around the campfire talking about Jesus Christ with Torr! He loves us! He trusts Elder Holmes and I so much that he told us where his house key is. I dont understnand why. I guess we are just trustworthy!


Don
The last highlight of the week was when we went and taught our friend Don. He is this retired dude that has so much time on his hands. He is very willing to hear the gospel and I relate to him very well! We will be meeting with him every week hopefully and doing a study together! It will be awesome!


Well That was this week! Sorry it was so short. I did recieve transfer news! I will be getting transfered up to springfield pretty close to the new temple they are putting in there so that is pretty cool! I will be in a trio! One of my companions is my good friend Elder Mortensen. It will be awesome to have a change. I will miss everyone in this area but I am happy at the same time to not be biking. It will be a relief.

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
