Blackberries, Bunnies And Beards

Holy Smokes people. It has gone by so quickly. I cannot believe that it is time for me to write yet another email. It is your weekly reminder I am still living and breathing. So here you go!


Blackberries
Tuesday we get asked if we can go help out with a service with our zone leaders. They told us that it is the funnest service but didnt want us to know what it was. So we show up and they have a giagantic wall of blackberry bushes! They said they had a giant flooding problem and they felt like the problem was under the wall of bushes. So we put on the thickest gloves we could and get to work pulling these bushes and cutting and hacking and pulling some more to get them out! Kind of fun to be honest. I havent done a real service project since lakeview and I do miss actual work. So that was fun!


MAYBE I SHOULDNT BE IN A DRIVING AREA
One of the days, I am not sure what one i think wednesday Elder Sparks had a meeting he had to go up to in Eugene so we got to take the truck for the day! Lets just say I miss driving around so much. We got to go to places that havent been visited since like 2010. There was this one house that had a crazy steep driveway. Like I swear I was driving up 45 degrees. Once I saw a place to pull to the side right by the house i started turning and all of a sudden the whole front end of the truck dropped. Now we are lookng down into a river that was not there before! So Elder Holmes Jumps out and I threw the truck in 4x4 to make sure I could get out. But I am good! Dont ya worry! Nobody was hurt, I didnt die. So yea!


EASTER BUNNY
We got asked if we could go help out with a easter event that was going on in Central Point. So we show up at around 915 and we stand around because they dont tell us what we should be doing until 1030 and then we are told to go spread eggs around a 1x1 square and when the hunt started at 11 it was maddness! There were kids sprinting so hard to get some eggs. Kids jumping over other kids. It was like watching football! Like little 3-4 year old piranahs running around. Then, just as fast as it started, at precisely 1101 all the kids were gone. The 5000 eggs that we had are gone. I am never doing that again. 


Anyways, I love you all and I hope you all are having an awesome easter! I have been trying to find a productive way to learn more while studying the Book of Mormon. I have a brand new one that was right out of the print shop and I have been trying to write down all of my thoughts and just putting together the pieces. It is awesome. You guys should try it.

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
