Pork Ribs And Catan

Hello Hello Hello! I cant believe that it is time to write another email out for all of you! It seems like just yesterday that I was writing last weeks out. This week flew by. Here are the Highlights!


Clone City!
On Tuesday I had to take my bike into the shop to get my rim straightened up. During this long process we did not have a way to get around too easy. So we decided to do some facebook finding at one of the other Elder's apartments. We are doing facebook, go get lunch and do some more facebook. And one of the Elders starts going off on this utopian society where everything is free and he makes a billion clones of himself to do all the work for everyone. He talks about how it would solve things like poverty, because everything is free, negative comments on the internet and everyone is happy! I dont even know what satanic scheme he created here but when he is running for president I am not going to vote for him. 


Abe
Alright! This is probably the most important part of this email. Abe is such a cool guy and he decided he wants to get baptised on April 15th! Except there is one little problem. He has this medical condition where his lower half cannot filter out toxins so his legs get all swelled up and start leaking puss from everywhere! Nontheless it is going to be a strange baptism to say the least. We will probably have to either carry him or let him slowly meander himself in there. We helped him get up the 2 stairs from his bedroom to the living room and it took probably 45 minutes. Please pray for him! He needs it so so much! We are working with him as much as we  but his biggest obstacle is going to be his legs. 


Red Robin! Yummmmm x2
So, after district council we all decided to go to Red Robin for lunch. Which is not a good idea for after district council because we were there for 2 hours. Anyway, we get done and we go home and our Felicia, our member who was supposed to feed us that night, asked if we could meet her at Red Robin for dinner! So we show up and eat round 2 of bottomless fries! I did get a wrap that time though. It felt a little healthier than eating 2 cheeseburgers! I was probably going to get diabetes! 


RIBS and Catan!
Saturday Elder Larsen and Asay call us up after a service and ask us if we wanted to do dinner with them since we both weren't getting fed that night! So Elder Holmes and I grab our 2 racks of ribs we have been holding on to for a while and they go buy some as well. 4 racks of ribs and all sorts of sides! We pretty much made a feast! And you guys wonder why I am not loosing weight out here on the mission! I use my money wisely! Red Robin and Ribs! I also learned how to play Catan! It is a fun but long game! 


That was this week! There was a lot of fun stuff! I felt like it was a successful week. Now lets just hope for another one like this one! I hope the best for you all and talk to ya next week!

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
