In A Trio With A Nonmember!!

What is up!? How is everyone doing? I hope you all are doing well and I hope you have learned something new this week! I surely have! Anyways, you guys know the drill ill get into the highlights!


TRIO WITH JORDAN
Well one of the first things we did this week that was different was when Jordan asked if he could come talk to everyone and "Preach the word" With us! We were kind of skeptical about it just because he does not know everything to say and stuff. Not saying I do but you guys get the gist. Well he comes with us and I feel like he has been able to learn so much just from that one experience. He told us that we are pretty much at a war of words. So it was a perfect opportunity to teach about opposition in all things. I think it is really cool how much he has progressed even in the last little bit. We are hoping to keep meeting with him and just to read and help him learn so much.

So there we were just about to finish up the day after a long long day. We were getting tired and everything was very cold. We decided to stop at one more dot in our book. His name was Joey DavidWynes DrPhilorDrMario. We had no idea who this guy was and why his name was so strange. Strange name for the united states. So we go knock on this door and this guy answers. He has a super cool handlebar mustache and he had sleeves of tats all up his arms. And all over his head. If you describe a typical oldschool biker gang kind of guy you would pretty much hit it on the head. So we asked him if his name was Joey. Of course not! He said his name was Paul, and and asked where his burrito was. We were very confused and he asked us if we were people delivering a burrito for him. So we explained who we were and the coolest thing happened. He said he has been praying and hoping for a church to join. Then we showed up! We were there for probaby an hour just talking and sharing the plan of salvation with him. Gave him a book of mormon and he said he would come to church! It was so cool! Dont judge a book by its cover!


CAT! 
Well our friend Cat is just one of the coolest people ever! She told us that when she went to church for like 3 hours because they had a tour and stuff after she did not have an incling or a temptation to smoke a single time. We told her that was the spirit and she said she wishes church would be way longer because she is trying to get over her addiction to smoking. We also showed her the word of wisdom and the blessings that came with it. It seems like she will get babtised so dang quickly. I wish we didnt have to give her to the zone leaders because she lives outside our area. 


That is honestly the cool stuff this week! I did get to go to the temple today and see the changes they made to it! The temple is a very neat place! I love it so much! There is no place like it. That is why I was late today. I stayed up too late playing Settlers of Catan with some elders and didnt have a minute to write one. Then I went to the temple and just did not have time to do it. I am sorry for the hassle. I love each and every one of you. I want to share a few scriptures with you guys before I end. It is in the book of Ecclesiates Chapter 3 verses 1-8. 
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.


I wanted to share this with you because I have no idea what you guys are going through. I have no idea what your trials and tribulations consist of. But I do know that whatever it is. Focus on the Lord. He will help you build up. He will help you heal. He will help you feel peace. I love you all and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
