Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it. 


John's situation:
Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out!


District council:
This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about covenants! They are just so powerful and bring a spirit that is unmistakenable. Yes that is a word. 


Birthday!
Yep! I am an old geezer! A whopping 19 years old! My mom was so nice and ordered an ice cream cake from baskin robins for my birthday so we went and picked that up yesterday! I decided to eat and hangout with a bunch of the Elders in the evening on my birthday. Though I didnt really plan it, i mentioned it to a couple people and word got around and luckily one of the families in my ward made a cake as well. So we had 2 different cakes that we got to eat between the 10 elders there. It was an absolute blast! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! You are all amazing!


Anyways, there was not a lot of stuff going on this week so this email is super short but I do want to say that I love and miss you all! You all made me who I am now and I feel like it has helped me gain a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you so much for everything!

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
