Becoming A Neandrethal!

Well hello people of the email list! It is absolutely insane how I was celebrating Christmas before it was cool back in September with the Halibiebs! But anyways, MERRY CHRISTMAS! Christmas is my favorite holiday and it never will change! Though Christmas on the mission was kind of hard and made me a little sad, I still felt like I was loved out here on the mission. It is so crazy how your ward just spoils the missionaries silly during the holidays! Here are the Highlights of the week!


Alright so nothing crazy happened the whole week besides Christmas eve and Christmas. Sorry about that! 


Twins!


Alright! So we had two different people we wanted to visit with for Christmas Eve! One of them is Emy Anderson and her family. They are kind of investigators but kind of not. They come every once in a while to church but we can never get in contact with them. So we were so so so lucky to be able to go visit her family. She has 2 different twin 3 year old girls named Iris and Bee and they are the cutest little girls ever! They just made me laugh the whole time I was there and I had an incredible time. Those 2 little girls are absolutely adorable.

Literally right after we got fed by Emy and her family we went over to the Quackenbushes family more to just hangout but they fed us as well! So we got 2 different meals that night! Anyways, we go over there and we had this incredible turkey and super delicious stuffing too! It was overall incredible! They are like super good cooks and do it a lot for fun. Anyways, they made this dessert that I have never heard of! I guess it is really common to have it at a wedding of some sort and it was incredible! They said it took like 6 hours to make and stuff so it was very crazy! So delicious and pretty thought! I was kind of afraid to eat it!


Christmas Morning


Luckily I was given the opportunity to talk to my family and stuff because it was Christmas! But I got up and called them because I knew we usually opened presents early in the morning! So using technology I was able to open presents and talk to them on Christmas! It was amazing!

Later that evening we went over to one of my favorite members house for dinner and playing games for Christmas! They bought us each a little board game and we were able to play them with them! One of the games had dice and I thought it was kind of confusing but I could tell that when I would get used to it I would do pretty good! We also played a game where it was like Charades but you had to describe the thing with one sylable words and it is so much harder than you would expect! That one was one of my favorites and I totally would reccomend playing it sometime! It is called Poetry with the Neandrethal or something like that.


Anyways, Thank you all for the Christmas wishes and you are all incredible! I love and miss all of you! Especially my mom and dad who have always made Christmas the best time of the year! I Love you mom and Dad and I appreciate all you guys have done for me! Talk to you guys next week!

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
