Beating Up A Homeless Guy!

Well Hello people of the Email list! I hope you are all doing well and I hope you all have had a wonderful week! Mine was definitely not anything out of the ordinary except for one thing but I will get to that later. This is the highlights:


Kevin Moving:
One of the people we have been teaching for the last little while is moving out to Mccloud area. We got to pack his whole house into this Uhaul that was like only made for a studio apartment one. We packed that thing to the max! We fit so much junk into that space it was not even funny. We had to throw his bike on the very top which was like a last ditch effort to make things fit. It was a miracle but we did make everything fit with more room than we thought it would have in it. Life finds a way! -Ian Malcolm


Mission to beat up a homeless man:
So late Tuesday night. Like 830 which is late Missionary time. We get a call from our District Leader saying the Sisters thought that there was someone in their apartment and that we needed to get over there as soon as we could. So we jump in the car and we drive as fast as we could to the Sisters apartment. My phone is on shuffle for my music and crazily coconut mall from Mario Kart was playing to make it more intense. So we show up and the spanish guys show up like the same time as we do and so we bust into the apartment and spread out so we can find this guy. It looked like that he somehow jumped up into the attic. So we throw Elder Mortensen, who used to be a marine, up into the attic to see if there was anyone up there. Luckily, there was nobody there but the sisters were freaking out. I guess some of the other sisters stopped by and said they saw somebody in the house. They were still pretty nervous and I learned someone that has the Melkezidek priesthood can bless houses. So we find out how to do that and bless their house. This made the sisters feel better. They gave us some food because they were very grateful for the priesthood. It was very cool because we all learned something out of it. There are more powers of the priesthood that I want to know more of. I am very glad the sisters were doing better afterwards. They came and visited us and made us brownies and wrote thank you memes because "In distress we cannot write letters so we wrote memes." 


The Temple:
Thursday we went to the temple! It was our pday and it was an amazing opportunity to go to the temple. I feel closer to the spirit while I am at the temple. I absolutely love going and I feel at peace while I am there. 


Spiritual Thought: 
This week I was able to attend two different Christmas choir concerts. I absolutely love feeling the spirit through music. This made me think that there are so many ways to feel the spirit and it is different for everybody. I feel the spirit the most while listening to great music and while at the temple. How have you guys felt the spirit the most?

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
