Are You Jesus?

Hello people of the email list! I hope you are all doing well! I hope you all had an amazing week and I hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving as well! This week was pretty eventful to say the least! We had zone conference which is pretty sick! We talked a lot about the importance of having and keeping our covenants. I really did learn a ton about some of the covenants that I have made. It was also super fun to see some of my long lost friends from good old Klamath Falls. I love zone conferences! They are my absolute favorite! Anyways, now for the highlights!


FIVE CROWNS
We got to go play five crowns with some people one of the evenings. It was these nice older people who absolutely smoked Elder Larsen and I in Five Crowns! I feel like I am at least mediocre at the game at least when I play with my family and such but it was ridiculous how much this guy named Bob beat us. I did have one awesome hand where I had 6 wilds! It was pretty neat. I went out first turn and Bob ended up getting 9 points that round! I dont understand!


ARE YOU JESUS?
I went on exchanges with Elder Radcliff and nothing specifically crazy happened. We did go public finding at a park in the area! We were trying to figure out an easy way to have people stop and listen to us. So we figured if we would ask if they wanted to hear a hilarious joke we maybe could get a conversation going. So we came up with 2 absolutely amazing jokes like what do you call a fish with no eyes? A FSH! Get it no Is?? It is way funnier when it is in person, we also would ask if someone has ever ate a clock. Because it is pretty "Time Consuming". Anyways, we went up to this guy and asked him if he has ever ate a clock and he said he did not speak english in spanish right. So us using our 3 years of super good high school spanish we tried to ask this guy in spanish if we could share a message. But we ended up accidentally asking him if he was Jesus... Embarassing. Where he kinda was confused but he was like no. Haha! So there you go! Our guy is not Jesus!


No Coffee=No Sugar
One of my favorite members in our ward is named Ramon. He goes to our lessons with Jon and he also gives us awesome insight on what we are learning and such. He is so cool. But he is moving up to Portland! So we had a "Last Supper" With him by going and eating at a chinese Buffet with him! I am going to miss this guy! He is an absolute Legend! We also had our last lesson with Jon and Ramon. Which we have been working with him on stopping drinking Coffee. So I am proud to say that we made a deal that if he does not drink coffee for one day we will not eat any sugar for that day. I want to see if it works. Because I totally would rather me not eat sugar and him not drink coffee. I say it is a struggle for both of us. It means no eggnog though. That is going to be the worst part. Only water. 


Spiritual Thought
As missionaries we are taught to spread the light of Christ to everybody. This week I have been trying to ask people what they are grateful for in the light of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the time to be grateful for what you have. Psalms 92 says, 1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
   2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night. 
The Lord provided everything we have on this earth today. Through God's grace and mercy we are as successful as we are. There is no reason to not say thank you to him for all you have.

Hello everyone! No I did not forget to write my email this week. It was really weird last night and this morning and so I decided it was fine to write it tonight. I hope everyone is doing well! This week was full of ups and downs so lets get right into it.  Nostalgia On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with my old companion Elder Holmes. He was one of my favorites so I was very excited to see him and work with him for the day! We decided to make some chicken wings for nostalgic purposes. When we were together over a year ago the ward was not the best at feeding us. So we would make these chicken wings that had a delicious sauce that we had. It was a combination of Parmeson Garlic Buffalo Wild Wings and chic-fil-a sauce! Dont knock it till you try it. Though you dont need to look at the nutrition label when you are eating them. Birthday!

Hello people of the email list! Welcome to this weeks email! This week was kind of slow except for the last couple days so I guess lets get into it.  John's situation: Well we learned that my good friend and only progressing person that we are teaching had his hours changed. So that means he cannot really do our 3 meetings a week and it might be back to 1. We are hoping that he will want to meet with us at his own home. I guess this is the ultimate test of faith. Does he really want to keep progressing or does he want to just drop it right there? I guess we will find out! District council: This week in district council we talked a ton about Covenants and how important they are. President Nelson talks about how once you make a covenant with our Heavenly Father it is like a chain. He will never give up on you. Even if someone might not be living the covenants fully he will still be willing to help you get back on track and hold on to the iron rod. I absolutely love talking about cove...

Hanging Out With An Instagram Star!

Hello Hello my friends and my family! I hope you are all doing well! Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Especially the Gilbertsons for driving all the way from Merlin to come hangout with me! I love you guys! I appreciate the support! Now I cant blame all my problems on my troubled teenage years! But dont worry, I know guys that never seem to grow out of being a teenager! ;) *Cough* my dad *Cough.  Anyways, This week has been really interesting! Ever since ive been put into the area I feel like I have been struggling. I went from Merlin to here. Where we were teaching a ton of people to nobody. So this week I decided to put my head down and just get as much done as possible.  Last week at interviews I was talking to president and he told me he has been wanting to change our area as well as the area next to ours to a bike share area.
