Zone Conference, Interviews, Allergies, And Services
Well hello people of the email list. It has been a crazy week this week. Lots and lots of different services the last little bit! Some more strange then others.
Tuesday we had the opportunity to go listen to president Weekes speak during zone conference! He talked a lot about repentance. He told us that everyone needs to repent. And that once you repent you'll be able to feel peace. I am grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ. It allows me to feel clean from whatever sins I have.
Wednesday we had the opportunity to go help Jack with weeding his yard. We also got to go over to perry and Joyce Collins house for dinner.
Thursday we had an insanely busy day. We went over to Phyllis house and built a corral for her cows. We then went and helped this lady find a leak from under her house. Which I guess is against the rules. I had no idea so don't blame me. But we dug around the house trying to find the pipe that was the cause of the leak. We dug around for Like 3 hours and we ended up finding it. Long time of just digging in the mud but we did it. Right after that we went over to adriannas house to help her move a bunch of stuff into her trailer. I guess the rv park is wanting to redo a bunch of stuff. After that we went and helped the decaires with putting a rubber floor down in their shop. It was kind of tedious but it is al good.
The next 2 days we had exchanges. Elder Romrell came down and hangout with me in Lakeview. We got to go help out with a Spay and Neutering clinic. Let's just say it was crazy experience. I loved it but it also was something idk if I would want to do. We did not get to do the actual spaying and neutering because of obvious reasons but I did get to do the recovery stuff. I had to check heartrate, temperature, the teeth, and clip their claws if they were long. It was a cool thing to do because it was unique. Rommy had no idea at all that we were doing that. So it was kind of a shock for them.
Anyways a bit about Rommy, he is kind of a strange guy but I did enjoy hanging out with him. He is a little bit slower but I think he does good at talking to people. Which is super cool. He is way different from me and idk if I would want to be his companion. But it was fun to go hangout with him for the day. We also helped put some fence in for the Martinez family too. Elder Romrell has never done that before so it was kinda fun teaching him about how to do it. He is a big city kid.
The last thing I want to talk about is priesthood blessings. I got to give my very first one yesterday to brother Martinez. He has been struggling with cancer and he has a terrible cough from a sickness from around 2 months ago. So I was lucky enough to give him a priesthood blessing. It was kind of cool how the words just kind of came to me what to say. The spirit prompted me to say stuff and It was just so cool. I just hope if it is God's will that he will recover speedily because I really like him and I think he is one of the coolest guys ever. I am sure he would appreciate prayers for him.
Well guys. It definitely has been an eventful week. And I am sure this week will be just as crazy. I appreciate everything you guys do for me! You are all my heros! I love you all! Talk to you guys next week!
