Becoming A Neandrethal!

Well hello people of the email list! It is absolutely insane how I was celebrating Christmas before it was cool back in September with the Halibiebs! But anyways, MERRY CHRISTMAS! Christmas is my favorite holiday and it never will change! Though Christmas on the mission was kind of hard and made me a little sad, I still felt like I was loved out here on the mission. It is so crazy how your ward just spoils the missionaries silly during the holidays! Here are the Highlights of the week! Alright so nothing crazy happened the whole week besides Christmas eve and Christmas. Sorry about that!  Twins! Alright! So we had two different people we wanted to visit with for Christmas Eve! One of them is Emy Anderson and her family. They are kind of investigators but kind of not. They come every once in a while to church but we can never get in contact with them. So we were so so so lucky to be able to go visit her family. She has 2 different twin 3 year old girls named Iris and Bee and they ar...

Swimming On The Mission

Well my friends, my family, members of the email list. It is that time of the week again. You get to hear from me! Congratulations! This week has been so crazy! Here are the Highlights! Hanging out with Elder Bush Tuesday was transfers. Elder Larsen got transfered over to Eagle Point. Like 30 minutes from where I am now and I did not have a companion because my trainee is supposed to come late Wednesday night. So I got to hangout with my friend Elder Bush. Elder Bush has been out for just over a year and lets just say I have not seen anyone so in tune with the spirit while I am out here. He can pull random scriptures out of his head on a dime and he can help people feel the spirit so strongly. We were on a mission to contact a lady that wanted a book of mormon in Thai. Which was unusual. He got talking to this one guy and had a whole spiritual conversation with him and it was so cool. I am kind of inspired by him. He asked him one simple question, "If you could ask Jesus Christ on...

Well hello people of the email list! This is Elder Reynolds! This week I recieved some exciting news. Transfers! I am staying here in the Medford 3rd Ward and Elder Larsen is moving to Eagle Point. Which is still in my zone! So I will still get to see him! His new comp is Elder Walker, he is the one that believes that birds arent real so that is fun he gets to come back with me. I also dont know who my companion is yet because I am training! In "my mission family" that means I get a son. Dont ask me who the mom is because I have no Idea! But I do get a son! Ill have to tell you guys about him next week! Anyways, thats the good news. These are the highlights. Dinner at T-house! Brother Malmgrin told us that he would take us to Texas Roadhouse for dinner one night! While we were there there were a couple of birthdays. Texas roadhouse workers go and make the birthday person sit on the saddle. So Elder Larsen and I made the joke saying that we were going to tell them that it was ...

Beating Up A Homeless Guy!

Well Hello people of the Email list! I hope you are all doing well and I hope you all have had a wonderful week! Mine was definitely not anything out of the ordinary except for one thing but I will get to that later. This is the highlights: Kevin Moving: One of the people we have been teaching for the last little while is moving out to Mccloud area. We got to pack his whole house into this Uhaul that was like only made for a studio apartment one. We packed that thing to the max! We fit so much junk into that space it was not even funny. We had to throw his bike on the very top which was like a last ditch effort to make things fit. It was a miracle but we did make everything fit with more room than we thought it would have in it. Life finds a way! -Ian Malcolm Mission to beat up a homeless man: So late Tuesday night. Like 830 which is late Missionary time. We get a call from our District Leader saying the Sisters thought that there was someone in their apartment and that we needed to ge...
