Hows it going everyone!? I hope you are all doing well! This week has been pretty mediocre for me. But here are the highlights! On Monday last week we are finishing up our meeting we have to end pday off and the goodpastures come and knock on our door they tell us they have a bobcat that is sitting up in a tree with one of their chickens. So we go out there and the bobcat drops the chicken right in front of us. After looking up the legality part of it, we decide since it is killing livestock we are going to shoot it. So brother Goodpasture goes over and grabs his little 223 and comes over and we shoot the bobcat. Now they are going to sen it in to a taxidermist to see if they can get it mounted! That was honestly the best part of the week. On thursday we got to go on exchanges with the District leader! Elder Wells! I might have mentioned him before because he is pretty cool. So my comp and I are high. It must be from being here in Merlin. There is a weed farm about every half mile. It has been a very very relaxing time here.  Anyways, you guys are here to listen to me rant about my area and like hear what I am doing I guess. So here we go.  Oregon Caves So we went to these caves that were over in the cave junction. We Loved it actually. We had like a 90 minute guided tour with some dude named David. There are pictures down below. Kind of similair to when we went to the Lehman caves a little while back when I was home.  Visiting Meddy! We got to go down to the temple with a couple of reactivated members in our ward. We thought that they would be ready for the endowment by that time because I thought he was an Elder already but it turns out he was not. Hello Hello everybody! I hope this email finds you well! This week has been something else. Lets just say that. So lets get right into it.  The main thing I want to talk about is this lady named Shirley. On Wednesday we had a lesson and a service and we come home and are trying to figure out what to do for the rest of the day and we get a text out of the blue saying we need to go visit her. Like right at that moment. Luckily we didnt have anything for a bit so we grabbed what we needed and we go over to her house. We show up and we knock on the door. No answer. We try calling her and we hear the ringing in the house. But no answer. We start to turn away after like 5 min and she comes out. She doesnt say a word to us. She just stares. My son Elder Merrill looks at me and  like mouths to me, I think she is drunk. So for some reason he litterally asks her, "Are you on something?" Hello Hello my friends! I hope you are all doing well! It is so crazy to be writing yet another email to yall. I feel like just last week I did! Anyways, Here are the highlights!  For pday we went on a hike up this mountain called Bolt Mountain. It was a pretty moderate hike around 6.5 miles round trip. It was very fun trying to get out and just do things for pdays that arent just sports at the church.  On Tuesday, after lots of convincing we went with the zone leaders on exchanges. It actually was a pretty fun day! We got to go into grants pass with brother Gill and help him move his friend out to texas. The cool thing is that his friend had all sorts of guns we got to mess with. No we didn't shoot them. Dont ya worry. We also got transfer news! I will be staying here and receiving a brand new trainee right of the assembly line! It will be so fun! Wednesday was a bit more of a packing/ slower day. There was a couple of cool lessons though! What is up my friends, my family and McKay! I hope you are all doing well! This week was a doozey so here are the highlights!  Service!! We had a handful of services this week! Which consisted of most of Wednesday and some of tuesday. On Tuesday we had a little time avaliable so Mama goodpasture asked if we wanted to help her with a couple of things around the ranch. So we did a couple of chores like cleaning a chicken coop and moving a mattress from their RV to their air bnb. Wednesday we decided to go help out the Garcia family with a huge weeding project in their front yard. So we rallied up another companionship of elders and we went over there. They also invited one of their friends that have been helping out with their garage over for lunch! His name is Dylan and he is kind of investigating the church! So we might be teaching him soon!
